Dear Donor
We would like to share with you today the story of Ahmed, a child we met while distributing bread in one of the informal camps in the countryside of Suran, northern Syria. Ahmed lives with his mother and sister along with his uncle in a single tent under harsh and unfair conditions. Ahmed's father has been missing for five years, having gone to work in Aleppo, after which all contact was lost.
Ahmed's family suffers from severe shortages of basic necessities such as food and water, making daily life increasingly difficult. His mother, together with her brother, works tirelessly in agriculture to make ends meet, but agricultural work is seasonal and insufficient to cover the family's growing needs.
Despite these challenges, Ahmed remains a cheerful child who loves life and dreams of a bright future. He hopes to become a doctor one day to help others. His story is a reflection of the struggles faced by many children growing up amid crises they did not choose.
Thanks to your unwavering generosity, we were able to provide bread for Ahmed's family this month. This assistance is invaluable, as it offers a daily meal that helps alleviate the suffering of this family and gives them a sense of security, if only for a short while. Continuing this support is not just about providing food; it is a message of hope for this family and all the families that rely on this project, amidst difficult circumstances threatening their daily stability.
We thank all who have contributed and will continue to contribute to this project. Your generosity allows us to keep providing vital aid to those in dire need and to ensure that children like Ahmed remain filled with hope for a better tomorrow.
We are deeply grateful for your kind support
