Dear Donor,
Today, we would like to share with you the story of Saeed, a young boy whom life forced to become a man before his time, carrying burdens far heavier than his years.
Just a year ago, Saeed lived a simple life with his parents and siblings. However, a tragic accident turned his world upside down. His father was involved in a severe car accident that left him with a complicated leg fracture, rendering him unable to walk or work. Without the financial means for the necessary surgeries, Saeed suddenly found himself shouldering a responsibility he was not prepared for.
He had to leave school, put his books aside, and start working in a small grocery store for a meager wage that barely covered the rent and a few basic necessities. Gone were the days of play and study—his only concern now was how to provide for his mother and younger siblings. Every time he looked at his immobilized father, the weight on his young shoulders grew heavier.
As the holy month of Ramadan approached, their table remained nearly empty, with his mother struggling to conceal her tears so her children would not feel the hunger gnawing at them. But thanks to your generosity, they received a complete food basket that brought them comfort during this sacred month and filled their weary hearts with warmth.
Stories like Saeed’s unfold every day—thousands of children are forced to take on responsibilities beyond their years, silently enduring hunger and hardship.
