In the midst of Syria’s hardships, the arrival of Ramadan brings even greater challenges, as countless families struggle to secure their basic needs. This holy month, meant to be a time of mercy and peace, has instead become a season of fear and deprivation for many, as they wait for a helping hand to ease their suffering.

Ahmed’s family is one of those facing immense difficulties. At just fifteen years old, Ahmed was forced to become a man before his time after losing his father. Left as the sole provider for his mother and two younger sisters, he had no choice but to step up and face life’s harsh realities. He works in tailoring, a demanding job for someone his age, just to put food on the table—carrying burdens far beyond what a child should bear when he should have been in school like his peers.

Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to provide a complete food basket for Ahmed’s family this Ramadan. This eased some of his burdens and allowed him to sit with his mother and sisters for Iftar without worrying about their next meal. More than just food, this basket was a message of hope and solidarity, reminding Ahmed that he is not alone in this difficult journey.

But Ahmed is not the only one. Hundreds of children have found themselves shouldering responsibilities beyond their years, struggling to support their families under dire circumstances. Your continued support ensures that more families receive the help they desperately need, giving these young children a sense of security they have long been deprived of.

Mrs. Wafa is one of those facing immense challenges. Living on the outskirts of Souran city, she lost her husband last year due to kidney disease, leaving her alone to care for their three children. Despite her relentless efforts to provide for them, she struggles to find work that can cover even their basic necessities amid soaring prices and worsening economic conditions.

Thanks to your generous support, we were able to provide a complete food basket for Mrs. Wafa’s family this Ramadan, ensuring they have enough food for Iftar and Suhoor, easing some of their daily struggles. Your donation was not just a source of sustenance—it was a message of hope and solidarity, reminding them that they are not alone.
