J.A. is a Syrian woman centenarian who is living in Al-Fadel camp in north of Syria, and who had displaced from Kafr Nobol city following the bombardment and air strikes targeting her city. She has had some pains in her body as she could not get up or move her limbs, so she visited one of the isolation hospitals that are supported by SEMA in north of Syria. After she was diagnosed by the medical team, it was realized that she was infected with the COVID-19 virus, so she was isolated from the rest of the patients in the hospital and was admitted for treatment.
J.A., the centenarian, also suffered from unmonitored diabetes. She was put under regular monitoring and follow-up for 15 days until it was confirmed that she fully recovered and overcame the COVID-19 virus. She was discharged of the hospital and she was very grateful for the medical team who assisted and supported her while she was struggling with the virus.
J.’s case inspired the doctors to continue their job in saving lives and giving more, and it also inspired us to keep up our support for the people inside Syria as they deserve the good that we carry to everyone.
Your continued support in this campaign will help us save their lives
