Your contributions are transforming lives, giving children the ability to smile, speak, and eat properly. Because of your support, countless children now have the opportunity for a brighter, healthier future. Your kindness is making a world of difference, and we deeply appreciate your support and commitment to this cause.
Elias was born with a severe cleft lip and palate, facing challenges such as malnutrition from feeding difficulties, increased instances of respiratory illness, and social isolation for the family due to societal stigma.
During our April 2023 outreach program, GSF’s expert medical volunteers performed a complex reconstructive surgery to address Elias’s severe cleft. Many organizations are unfamiliar with this type of cleft, but GSF has pioneered a technique for outreach programs that combines four procedures simultaneously. Today, Elias is thriving with a healthy, happy smile!
We are excited to see Elias again and return to Beirut, Lebanon from April 9-20, 2025, to continue providing life-changing cleft care.
