Dear Friends,
Along with the ongoing educational activities we always try to organize creative ones as well. During the winter season kids do not spend enough time outside. Therefore, we used the sunny days and, together with our partners, organized some events. The funniest one was the Kite making workshop. All the kids created their own kites. Since the event was also part of the Refugee Month, we encouraged the children to decorate their kites with messages of tolerance and acceptance.
What is winter without Christmas? The kids were so excited to participate in the Xmas card-making workshop, they learned new techniques and designed amazing greeting cards, tree ornaments and decorations.
The cookie workshop was a great activity for an unexpected holiday at the end of January. For the first time they tried the special recipe for butter cookies.
