Combating Child Malnutrition

By Project Coordinator | Project Coordinator

Our commitment to improving children's health remains strong through our ongoing Nutritional Recovery Programme. This initiative provides critical support to malnourished children, their siblings, and caregivers.

In 2024, we celebrated remarkable achievements that touched countless lives. We served 147 babies and 22 siblings with nutritional needs, and provided direct nutritional support and education to 31 caregivers. Our efforts in nutritional support were profound, distributing 2,906 cans of milk and 10,172 Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food (RUFT) sachets. These contributions helped 44 children achieve a healthy weight and graduate from our programme. Moreover, we empowered our community through 12 impactful workshops on nutrition, hygiene, and child development. Together, we are building a brighter, healthier future for our children and their families.

Furthermore, we successfully expanded our programme's reach to a remote region, extending vital support to communities facing severe malnutrition, serving around 70 additional beneficiaries. This expansion allows us to address critical needs in areas far from the capital.

We are deeply grateful for the support of each and every one of you. Your help made these achievements possible. We are committed to continue working to improve children's health in the region.

Thank you!
