Bringing Health and Hope to More Communities

By Staff | Project Coordinator

Thanks to your continued support, last October we embarked on our first visit to the community of a costal town near the capital, through the “Comunidad Sana” program, bringing essential healthcare to a place in deep need. During our time there, we worked alongside community members to assess their most pressing needs—from health and hygiene to water and education. This trip was not only a first step in providing care but also in building relationships and understanding how we can best support their journey to wellness.

Our dedicated medical team held a full health campaign, offering specialized services to address the community’s diverse healthcare needs, including:

- Internal Medicine

- Gynecology and Obstetrics

- Dermatology

- Parasitology

- Pediatrics

- Bioanalysis

- Dentistry

- Ophthalmology

- Endocrinology

In this community of approximately 1,600 people, we were able to care for 442 patients, conducting 1,294 consultations and ensuring access to critical treatments and medications, including NSAIDs, antihypertensives, antibiotics, antihistamines, antifungals, antiparasitics, corticosteroids, and analgesics. These are more than just medicines; they represent relief, comfort, and hope for a healthier future.

Your generosity is what makes moments like these possible. With your support, we are not just treating patients, we are bringing hope to communities that have long needed it. Thank you for believing in this mission, for being part of the journey, and for making it possible to reach more people with health, care, and compassion.
