Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous donation to our project providing much-needed water for children and their families. Poor families in remote barrios here have been hit hard by the long dry season caused by the El Nino phenomenon. Water has been very scarce and community residents walk long miles in order to get water. Now that the rains has started to fall, we provided a barrio with 75 families with a large rainwater harvester made of concrete. They will be using this in order to store water especially from the rain. This is important and can save them long hours of heavy work. The water they can use for their daily needs and the excess they can use for their gardening activities.
