Dear Generous Donor,
The announcement of a two-week ceasefire in Gaza has brought a rare opportunity amid a crippling siege that has lasted for over two years. This truce is not just a pause in destruction but a window of hope that we must seize to extend a helping hand to families in dire need. Among these families is that of Mohammed, along with his siblings Issam and Khawla, who live with their mother and grandparents in Masqat Camp in northern Gaza.
The three children lost their father in an airstrike a year and a half ago, and since then, they have been struggling to secure the most basic necessities. Thanks to your generous contributions, we were able to provide bread for this exhausted family. That simple act carried profound meaning. As Mohammed held the bread, it was as if it reassured him that they were not forgotten in their suffering.
But Mohammed and his family are just a small part of a larger picture, where hundreds of families await assistance. The current ceasefire is a golden opportunity for us to intensify our efforts and reach as many people as possible who are in desperate need.
Your donations are not just support; they are a lifeline and a beacon of hope for those in despair.
Thank you for your generosity that brings light to Gaza, day after day.
With many thanks
