¡Muchas gracias!

Towards the institutionalization and sustainability of the Online Curriculum

As in previous years, the number of users of CNBGuatemala.org increased with the beginning of the school year in Guatemala. About 70 thousand people had consulted it in the first three weeks of 2025. Aware of the importance of this educational resource, the Ministry of Education of Guatemala (MINEDUC) continues to work to ensure an efficient transfer to the MINEDUC’s Curriculum Directorate, as we announced in the report we shared with you in October 2024.

To avoid any disruption of the service, and thanks to your donations, the Online Learning Initiative (OLI) will continue to finance the cloud services that host the site, while consultants hired by MINEDUC update the electronic platform and complete the arrangements to have a greater space in the cloud that will allow adding functionalities and more resources.

CNBGuatemala.org is the largest source of consultation of the Guatemala Base Curriculum, so the transfer of its online version to MINEDUC constitutes an important step for its institutionalization and sustainability. The unconditional support of our donors has made it possible to reach this milestone. Thanks a lot!
