Save the future of Orphans by Zakat / Donation

Being an orphan is not merely considered the saddest of all tragedies that life can throw on a child. It's not just the breadwinner of the family who disappears. Suddenly, the child loses his best game partner, his best friend, a protector and a guide when it comes to taking tough decisions.

When Habibullah died of T. B., his only legacy left to Yasmee (his widow) was their seven children. It was like a catastrophe for the family because they had no financial savings to lean on. Life started to come on track when Yasmeen began working as a housemaid to earn a living for her seven orphaned children. But she was apprehensive about Farhan, as he was the youngest boy, and she wanted to give him a better future. Her resources were not enough to realize her dream of giving him a good education and other facilities of life. She prayed day and night, and Allah certainly did listen to her sincere prayers. She was looking for a school which could at least provide better education to her child but what she found was more than just a good school. She found a home for her child.

In 2017 she got to know about MyHome Al-Mustafa. It did not take her long to admit Farhan to My Home Al-Mustafa. Farhan is now part of a vast family. He has been living here for five years and is ten years old now. Here he gets a quality education (enrolled in Al-Mustafa Academy), sports, health and all the facilities of life a child can ask for. He does visit his mother on vacations, but he is happier at his place where there are friends who are more than family, his bicycle and football. He is a very talented boy and is fond of learning mathematics at school.

Time flies pretty fast. When we first posted this project in April 2020, we had 100 children living at MyHome Al-Mustafa. With your donations and the untiring efforts of the MyHome administration, our family has grown by 50 new members.

Due to increasing admission requests for orphaned children, we have constructed two new floors (20,000 sq feet) for the building. These two new floors have increased the capacity of the orphanage to accommodate up to 250 children. 

The children at MyHome are grouped based on their age, as follows:

• Group 1: Age Limit 4-8 years
• Group 2: Age Limit 9-12 years
• Group 3: Age Limit 13-14 years
• Group 4: Age Limit 15-16 years

All the children of MyHome Al-Al-Mustafa are enrolled in our school Al-Mustafa Academy. Along with accommodation and education, we make special efforts to provide quality food, clothing according to season and occasion, sports activities, scouts and martial arts training, recreational activities, field trips and a safe and secure environment.

Al-Mustafa's services and efforts have always been acknowledged on different forums and by various authorities. This time, the honourable Chief Minister of Sindh himself came to inaugurate the extension of the project and welcomed the 50 new family members to their new home. 

On occasion, the children of MyHome shone like the stars of the evening and stole the thunder of the High Profile Officials by expressing their Martial Arts and Scouts Training skills. Seeing their extraordinary skills left the audience in awe. The CM told the importance of learning such skills, wore a scout's tie, and revealed that he used to be a scout.

We are truly humbled and grateful to receive your kindness and trust. With your generosity, we have achieved yet another milestone. We will be sending you more updates from the field.
