Addressing malnutrition starts at the door of the house or the tent, as many parents are not aware that their child is malnourished.
More than one out of every three children under the age of five in northwestern Syria suffers from stunting and undernourishment. Your support for this campaign has contributed to our continuation in addressing malnutrition through SEMA nutrition teams that accompany the work of mobile clinics and that follow their daily activity in surveying cases Malnutrition in children under the age of five. Through their field tours, these teams cover the regions of northern and northwestern Syria, especially the areas of displaced persons in the camps.
Cases of wasting and nutritional deficiency are dealt with directly by providing emergency nutritional supplements or by referring advanced cases to specialized supervisors in SEMA's nutrition clinics and following up on their cases until full recovery.
Your support for this campaign will contribute to treating more malnourished children and saving their lives before it is too late.
