Changing Lives - Touching Souls
By Asma Rao | Head of Resource Mobilization

This Department was established in year 2000 and is now equipped with state of the art ophthalmic diagnostic and therapeutic equipment like operating microscopes, Phaco-emulsification and micro incision procedures are performed as a routine in the department of ophthalmology.
The lives we have touched and the prayers we have received are only because of this. One small procedure and Umar can see his text books again, concentrate on school again and feel normal again
The stories will keep coming if you keep supporting.
We will like to continue our program and hopefully we can with your support
Thank you once again!

In this world torn by war, terror, hunger and destruction to see that there are so many people who are out there to help and support us in not only heartening but also gives us hope all is not lost.
We had asked your support in raising funds for the gift of sight and we got so much in return and with this we helped so many. You are the reason for the light in so many lives from young children to women to old men. We treated them all through the trust and support you have shown us and we thank you for it and we will keep continuing it.

This platform has helped us raised funds for patients across Punjab who get the gift of sight. There are so many who have benefitted from the generous donations. Last year alone the Ophthalmology department of Fatima Memorial Hospital treated 11,900 patients.

The lives we have touched and the prayers we have received are only because of this. To see Samina to start learning to sew and so she can support her family makes us proud as this procedure has not helped her with the gift of sight but will also be responsible for her to be financially independent and support her family.
