It is difficult for words to explain the amount of sadness and isolation experienced by a deaf or hard of hearing child. Many years of his life pass without affecting his sensory and behavioral development.
But this suffering has become a thing of the past for 23 children in northwest Syria this week, after your donations lifted them from the epicenter of isolation and gave them a hearing aid and changed their lives forever.
We invite you to contemplate these pictures and examine the looks of the full of joy and amazement as they receive sounds for the first time in their lives.
