Taking care of children with special needs in light of the tragic and hard circumstances, in which the displaced people and other civilians live in north of Syria, is considered one of the main responsibilities of SEMA’s protection team, who seeks and identifies such cases and provides them with the needed moral and material support with the purpose of re-integrating them into society and inspiring hope for them and their families.
Watch the story of the child Mustafa:
Mustafa is one of the disabled children who suffer from delayed mental development, difficulty in learning and growth delay. The team of Aamal center, which is located in Idleb city and supported by SEMA, studied and followed up his case until he eventually managed to overcome all of the obstacles that he and his family encountered.
SEMA managed to reach Mustafa, provide him with a wide variety of its services, integrate him back into his society and friends in the school, and draw the smile again on his face.
However, there are still thousands of children, like Mustafa, who are deprived of the basic services such as education, food, and health, and they are waiting for someone to give them a helping hand … Help us to reach them and offer them what they need.
