We are extremely excited to share with you the activities we have carried out thanks to your valuable support.
On April 2nd, in commemoration of World Autism Day, we lighted up our city in collaboration with various institutions and companies, with the aim of raising awareness and creating visibility for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). As part of this initiative, we conducted informative talks about the main characteristics of ASD and ten strategies for the learning of children with autism. These talks took place in companies and universities such as IPN CITEDI, Certus Laboratorio, Safariland Group, Petsa Express, among others. We are delighted to have sensitized 279 people, in just one month!
In addition, within our School Program, we organized the event "A Day With My Grandparents," where children with autism are accompanied by their grandparents throughout a school day. The therapy teachers show grandparents the activities carried out in our Special School and inform them about the progress their grandchildren have made. But who can better share their experience than Joshua's grandmother, who comments: "The most significant progress I have noticed in Joshua is that he now communicates with us." We invite you to learn more about Joshua and his grandmother through the link at the end of this report.
Lastly, we celebrated the birthdays of our beloved students Amelia, Jesús, Gael, and Alexander as part of our recreational and inclusive activities in the Special School of our organization.
We deeply appreciate your generosity and trust, as without your unconditional support, these actions would not have been possible.
With gratitude,
Pasitos A.C.
