During last June, through the surgical program, we were able to perform a total of 1,877 successful surgeries, including 1,099 major surgeries, 416 minor surgeries and 362 caesarean sections, all provided free of charge to the weakest patients in northern Syria through our surgical hospitals.

During the downturn in the surgical sector due to the Corona pandemic, we have upgraded and re-maintained many operating rooms to provide a high quality surgical experience to patients, and now our hospitals are witnessing an increasing demand for deferred surgeries.

Thanks to your generous support, we are preparing for a new stage to run Wassim Hassino hospital. Now, its departments are under maintenance that will be finalized in one month after which the hospital is expected to receive patients again, but we are not sure if we can secure the hospital's main operational costs for the coming winter season.

The hospital performs around 200 surgeries on monthly basis, most of which are major surgeries, like bone, internal and urological surgeries. Our goal now is to "keep the hospital's doors open" to sustain the monthly health services provided to 5000 patients of those who cannot access the treatment elsewhere.
