Seedlings and Organic Fertilizer for Food Supply

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative providing seedlings and organic fertilizer for poor farmers. These 2 inputs are considered most important especially now that there is a consciousness to shift to non-chemical farming because of the realization of the poison from pesticides and fungicides and because these chemicals are increasingly difficult to obtain by farmers. This reporting period we conducted a training on how farmers are able to prepare organic fertilizer and organic concoctions by using materials around the farm. These organic concoctions are useful in improving the production in the farm. Great now because with the vaccination drive of the government, masks are no longer as needed compared to before. We were able to train a total of 18 farmers during this period and we hope them success in their farming endeavour.

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project providing seedlings and organic fertilizer in order to increase food security in remote and poor villages. Farming inputs like fertilizer, seeds and seedlings are sometimes difficult to procure by farmers and this is oftentimes the only pump-primer by which farmers are able to improve their lives. This way they are able to sustain their livelihoods without too much dependence from outside sources. We are resorting to this move because we found out that farmers become too dependent when they are provided with material things by which they no longer provide any effort on their own. During this reporting period we are able to support 75 farmers with 700 fruit tree seedlings. We provided them with technical materials via flyers and leaflets in their own dialect so that they are able to be guided how to grow the seedlings. Hoping for your continuing support.
