Seedlings and Organic Fertilizer for Food Supply

Dear Friend,

Thank you very much for your support to our project providing seedlings and organic fertilizer to small-scale farmers. We are happy to report that this period we are able to scale-up our support to farmers with seedlings and planting materials comprising banana, root crops and vegetables. There was a prediction of intense dry season but this did not occur and instead we have good rain happening regularly making farming a great enterprise as plants are growing well. The need for planting materials is always a problem with farmers and this is our chance to provide them with high-quality seeds, seedlings and plantlets that they are able to grow in their farms. A total of 115 farmers have benefited from our assistance during this period and we hope to provide to some more in the coming months. Again thank you very much for your assistance.

Dear Friend,

Thank you very much for your donation to our project providing seedlings and organic fertilizer for poor farming families. We implemented this project for a few years now and farmers are slowly reaping the benefits from the planted trees they grow in their farms. Our approach is called agro-reforestation or the growing of trees alongside vegetables and other cash crops. Some of the farmers also raise animals like pigs, chickens and goats which provides them with income on a regular basis. This is the best approach compared to when they do mono-crop agriculture or the planting of a single crop year round. A total of 220 farmers have benefited from our approach and we hope to increase the number as we continue to implement this initiative. Thank you once again for your help and hoping that you will continue to do so.
