Vulnerability is a consequence due to natural calamities, political, social and economic factor of the country. Government and non-government organizations have been making efforts to address these issues. If we have well mechanism to address the issues it can be minimized human and economic losses. Different Non-government organizations have been supporting government for pre and post occurrence. People can be saved by sensitization possible victims on time although immediate response is necessary to fulfill immediate needs. Corona virus COIVID 19 is affecting 212 countries and Nepal is also one of the affected countries. Bara and Parsa district are located at nearby India border which has created serious problem to save from corona. Nepal has started lockdown since last 24 May 2020 and continued till now. After lockdown flood victims are being more victimized. People have been facing more crisis as there are shortages of gases and consumption goods. MRC Nepal has encouraged them to use cook stoves instead of gas stove through telephone and mobile. MRC Nepal also updating the filed situation regularly and coordinating and linkages with stakeholders/flood victims. Flood victims also received relief support provided from different organizations. How long lockdown goes which is not sure so there is no possibility of our presence and support them directly. MRC Nepal will visit the area and support them accordingly.
