Presentation of the 2020 – 2022 Annual Report to the Public
63 persons attended the presentation, primarily local government and institution leaders and authorities such as the Municipal President. Representatives of the State of BCS and SEDENA also attended. The reported encapsulated the myriad activities that occurred un the COVID years.
CRESCA, the animal rescue center, is our current primary emphasis on community health and welfare. In addition to CRESCA activities, a gift donation was made for celebration of Day of the Nurses in coordination with the Municipal Health Committee. The foundation was also invited to form part of the Committee of Addiction Prevention under the coordination of the Department of Municipal Health. 1.5.1 Animal Rescue Center- CRESCA In addition to community outreach, maintenance, cleaning, feeding, and care is given to all animals resident at the facility each month. The facility receives stray and injured animals from local authorities and occasionally from community members. In addition, MMB, the local mine, has begun supporting the rescue facility once again, and bringing strays there as necessary. The rescue center population in January 2023 was 71 dogs, with two being rescued, two being placed for adoption, and one deceased. There were 25 low-cost sterilizations for pet owners. The rescue center regularly places about 35% of its population in adoptions during the year

We started this year with a great challenge. Have enough food to feed the guests of our rescue center.
Previously we reached an agreement with PURINA that donated food, but their warehouses in the state have closed and we have been left without the important donation that they gave us.
For this reason, we appreciate every donation that you can give us, for veterinary services, maintenance of facilities and food
