By Kamal Babu Pariyar | Executive Director

Nepal has been facing a new wave of the coronavirus over the past few weels, causing a sudden spike in the number of new infections and deaths. The rapid The second wave of COVID-19 spreading rapidly in Nepal. Data shows that Nepal is going to be the second India very soon. The life of all the people is going rather than worse. Many people died in the street, yard of hospitals, inside ambulance and on the way to hospital. There is no chances to cremation of the dead bodies in an electric crematorium because of the limitation of burnt. People start burring dead bodies on the bank of Bagmati River in Kathmandu and in other part of Nepal, there are obligation to bury up to 6 dead bodies in a pit.

In the first wave of COVID-19, the people are not infected in rural areas but in this second wave people are infected rapidly everywhere. So life is becoming harder that worse to save life from both coronavirus and hunger. In villages there are no vehicles to reach the hospital. The local government is trying to set up isolation center without oxygen cylinder. The record shows that the most of the people were died caused low oxygen level. So that, in this time the most needful thing is oxygen cylinders for local isolation centers is much appreciated. The local government and all the local social activists are worried about to save the life of people because there are no hospital nearby and no vehicle services. The condition of the rural people are so critical, who are just trying to stand from the hit of first wave of coronavirus but the second wave hit them hard and push then into huge health problems and food crisis. The time is on the door, many people is going die due to lack of oxygen and hospital bed and starvation. In present, there are three types of problems facing the COVID patients and their families; one, it's really hard to reach hospital due to vehicle unavailability, second, hard to get a hospital bed and third, even get a bed it is so expensive. So, it became in the responsibility on the soldier of social activists to save the life of people.
