Providing Support for Indigent Children

Thank you very much for supporting our project helping indigent children and their families. Poor families are experiencing hunger and malnutrition compared to 3-4 years ago this is because of the difficulty in generating income from the farm. This maybe the result of the changing climate with violent storms happening more frequently. The need to develop sustainable solutions to hunger is needed and one of the approaches that we are employing is in providing micro livelihoods to farmers. With little pump-priming capital and technical support, we aim to improve the living conditions of very poor farming families. This reporting period, and with the help also of local donors, we are able to help a total of 32 families. Hoping that you will continue to help us. Thank you very much.

Dear Friend,

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative helping indigent children and their families. Glad to report that the restrictions caused by the coronavirus pandemic has eased-up already and inhabitants can go about with their livelihood activities. We continue to look for opportunities for parents of indigent children to gain employment in their own homes and the growing of seedlings for gardeners is one of the best activity we have in our portfolio. There are so many gardeners and garden enthusiast since the start of the pandemic and plants sell well. We were able to assist 32 families with this type of livelihood option and we continue to look for other opportunities for the coming months. Hoping for your continuing support to our initiative.
