It is hard to source enough milk for the children and orphans in our schools. Tanzania produces the lowest amount of milk per capita than any other East Africa country. Most milk comes from low producting small family farms with only enough milk for the family.
Milk has so many nutricious qualities that help children grow strong and healthy. Children will often rely on drinking water from unclean rivers and streams. We have seen children scooping water out of mud puddles to drink. This water can carry life-threatening diseases. Milk is the most nutritious option.
A hungry child and they cannot concentrate in school. Help us purchase enough milk cows to provide milk for all these children. Staying healthy and getting an education is their way out of poverty.
