Mariam: Hope Restored by Your Support

By Hasan Sadk | Project leader

Dear Donor

Come with us today to learn about the story of Mariam, an 8-year-old girl living in one of the shelter camps in the city of Deir al-Balah in the Gaza Strip. Mariam lost her father during the war on Gaza, and now she lives with her mother and three siblings under harsh conditions, without a breadwinner. In addition to their deep sorrow, the family struggles with the accumulated debts left by her deceased father, making it even harder to secure their daily needs.

Mariam’s mother works tirelessly to fill the void left by her husband, striving to reassure her children and give them hope that tomorrow may bring something better. Amid these tough circumstances, your donations have been the light that brightened their lives. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to distribute bread to Mariam’s family. It was more than just bread; it was a vital support that helped meet their daily needs and gave them some stability in a life full of challenges.

Your donations have had a profound impact on Mariam and her family. They helped her mother continue fighting for her children, hoping that tomorrow will indeed be better. Your support was not just material assistance but a message of hope and security to this struggling family.

We are deeply grateful for your kindness and generosity, and we hope you will continue to support other families facing similar hardships. The world is undoubtedly a better place with generous people like you.

The world is a better place with amazing heroes like you.
