A Loaf of Hope for Besieged Gaza

By Hasan Sadik | Project leader

Dear Donor,

In Gaza, hunger continues to knock on the doors of devastated families. Mothers are trapped by the desperate eyes of their hungry children, and fathers struggle to find even a morsel to feed their loved ones. Under a sky heavy with smoke, in shelters lacking the most basic necessities, thousands of displaced people fight daily for a piece of bread to preserve their dignity and sustain their lives.

Thanks to your generosity, hunger was not the victor. Over the past two weeks, we have been able to provide bread for 200 families in the shelter camp in Al-Shuja’iya. We witnessed firsthand how this bread was more than just food—it was a message of survival. We saw how it lit up the eyes of children, how it eased the sorrow weighing on mothers’ hearts. Every loaf you provided had an indescribable impact because it came at a time when all they had left was hunger and waiting.

But the suffering is far from over, and hunger still haunts many. Your donations are not just numbers; they are lives you are saving, hope you are restoring. Your continued support means that hope endures, that someone hears the cries for help and does not turn away but answers with kindness.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Thank you for being a lifeline when the world turned its back on Gaza. Together, we make a difference. Together, we keep hope alive.
