FINAL PROJECT REPORT - Thank you!

By Piper Hendricks | Founder & Executive Director

Dear generous supporter of our "Train 20 Women to Use Film for Social Justice" project,

This is the final report you'll receive about this project - and here's why:

Your contribution made it possible for us to further our mission of equipping women to use storytelling to address injustice and promote positive change.

With your support, this project funded the launch of Reel Women Real Change program in Nepal. After that workshop, we paired graduates with expert mentors to support their filmmaking and advocacy work and were delighted to see our graduates grow - both personally and professionally - in the year that followed.

In 2019, we provided several shorter workshops to a range of audiences - from Pennsylvania to Kenya!

In 2020, we continue to welcome invitations for future workshops - both in the U.S. and abroad - as we also undertake a new initiative here in Washington, DC that we plan to launch by fall.

We are closing this project because we exceeded our goal and this particular project has served its purpose.

Our work is possible because of thoughtful contributions from people like you.

We will continue to send reports about our work through the GlobalGiving platform to those who donated to "Reel Women Real Change: Stories, Advocacy, Impact" (Project #31285).

Unfortunately, we cannot combine our project lists, so if you don't receive those updates, be sure you are receiving our e-newsletter by signing up here:

Or, if you prefer to receive updates via GlobalGiving, a small donation to the RWRC project will add you to that list instead.

Thank you again for supporting women's voices. We've made it as far as we have today because of YOU.

With gratitude,
Piper Hendricks
Founder & Executive Director of p.h. balanced films
