Thank you for supporting our project "Help Low Income MD-VA-DC Area Get Veterinary Care." While this project may not be the most popular with most donors on GlobalGiving - we appreciate all that you have done to help people with pets who do not have the ability to help them!
This year's project has expanded to include a third area code. We originally started with just one - 21225 - Brooklyn Park, MD. And have now included two adjacent areas codes in Glen Burnie, MD - 21061 and 21060. According to Robin Catlett, administrator of Anne Arundel County Animal Care and Control (ACCACC), these represent the 3 of the 10 highest surrender rates for cats and dogs in Anne Arundel County. The goal of this project is to lower the number of surrenders at the shelter and increase the quality of lives of both pets and families impacted.
In the last quarter, from January 1, 2023 to March 30, 2023, we have provided free spay/neuter and other veterinary services to over 113 animals - 17 dogs and 96 cats
As you may know, we rely solely on grants, dontions, and the support of people just like you to continue our life-saving work.
