Moreover, the programme focused on lawyers who belonged to the backward areas inhabitant mostly by the marginalized communities. It has been decided to recruit 8-10 lawyers per state who have little experience. The programme was advertised in the print media and social media. Apart from that our research associates went personally to various district in the 4 states to promote the LFC programme. They visited the district bars and interacted with the lawyers to motivate them to apply for the programme. In the orientation programme the candidates were introduced to social justice lawyering by lawyers who have been associated with IDEAL-Centre for Social Justice and are experienced with the issues related to Human Rights at the grassroot level. One of the purpose of the orientation programme was to figure out the understanding of the legal issues by the participants happening at the grassroot level. The participants were given some activities which included group discussions. The lawyers were shown video of Mrs. Vrinda Grover on “Nationalism and Sedition” based on that participants were asked 3 questions

Your dream in context of Social Justice Lawyering
The final question was posed to the candidates after a group activity based on Domestic Violence Act.
The candidates were asked to write the answers of the above aforesaid questions using pens on blank papers within a stipulated time. The shortlisting of the candidates of the programme will mainly be based on answering aforesaid questions. This programme will be an incentive for the grassroot lawyers not only in terms of knowledge and training but also financially. In the long run the lawyers will be empowered to be employed as the public prosecutor by the government and also be qualified enough to clear judicial services examination.
The purpose of this programme was to launch a small scale movement at grassroot level which will empower the candidates to fight for the rights of the community through legal intervention.
