The link above explains the plight of teen mothers in Ghana and why they need to be empowered.
To begin with we will like to say a big thank you to all our donors who believed in our project and donated their hard earned money to help invest in thses teen mothers.
We have started with the project and have so far worked with 20 teen mothers
The teen mothers have been take through counseling and given extensive education on reproductive health, They have also been given sanitary pads to help them flow clean and hygienic during menstration
They have been fully prepared to start the skill training in bead making and event decoration in the next three weeks
Moreso we have contracted 5 mentors who are currently mentoring 5 girls each and the mentoring program will continue throughout the training g program
We are actually supposed to invest in the lives of 100 teen mothers and we are doing this in batches of 20.
We are also happy to announce to all our donors that through their support we have also successfully graduated and are now partners of the GlobalGiving family who will continuously act as a medium of communication between dels foundation and you our precious donors. We say a big thank you for making us proud and investing in lives together with us
