Hot Meals for 2,000 Displaced People in Gaza

Amid the recent military campaign and the crippling siege on Gaza, Palestinian families are enduring dire humanitarian conditions. Food insecurity, lack of water and electricity, and the absence of basic resources make daily life a constant struggle for survival. Children, who should be living a normal childhood, find themselves facing hunger, cold, and fear.

Yaseen... A Child Deprived of a Normal Childhood

Yaseen is a small child, but he has never known childhood the way other children around the world do. Like many in Gaza, he battles hardship every day. Armed with his small container and braving the cold, he patiently waits for his turn to receive a hot meal to ease his hunger and that of his mother—the only family he has in this world.

With sadness, Yaseen says:
"My mother often stays hungry so she can give me the little food she manages to find."

But today, his eyes are filled with joy as he smiles and says:
"Today, I can give my mother hot food, and she won’t stay hungry."

Dear Donor,

Gaza has been suffering from a continuous war and a suffocating siege for over 15 months, leaving thousands of victims and displaced families without homes or shelter. But beyond the destruction, there is another silent tragedy—children deprived of the simple right to a hot meal.

Mohammed and Samih, two young boys, live with their family of seven in Al-Daraj, northern Gaza. They have not had a warm meal in a long time, as food has become scarce under the ongoing blockade, leaving most tables empty except for what little aid manages to reach them.

During our food distribution, two moments stood out...
Samih’s eyes were filled with exhaustion and fear, anxiously watching, afraid he might not receive his share. Meanwhile, Mohammed, despite his hunger, wore a hopeful smile, eagerly anticipating the warm meal that would finally ease his hunger.

These moments alone show the true impact of your generosity. Your continued support means that children like Mohammed and Samih won’t have to go to bed hungry, that even in the darkest times, a warm meal can still reach them.
