For over 40 years, our programs have been successful because of the synergy created between a participant and their horse. As we serve the special needs community, we witness how far this partnership goes in meeting individual goals where participants can improve balance and coordination, gain strength, build self-confidence, and develop their communication and social skills. Each of our horses work hard to give participants the very best experience through our programs.
Although we feel all of our herd members are stars, one has recently been honored on a larger scale. Our amazing Beauty has been named the 2024 Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship (PATH) International Region 5 Equine of the Year of the Year!
Region 5 consists of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee, Puerto Rico, South Africa, and the Caribbean Islands!
Everyone would agree on how deserving our sweet Beauty is. She will now be a finalist for the National Award!
Our program got lucky with this beauty. Born in 2000, she is a Haflinger/Quarter Horse cross who is truly built to serve. She joined EATSF in 2016. She is a favorite for many because of her kind and patient nature. Depending on her pace, her movement provides different levels of input for our participants both mentally and physically.
We would like to thank you for supporting our herd of horses that provide exceptional care for our children and adults that participate in our programs. We invite you to come out and see our mission in action when you are in our neighborhood. It would be our pleasure to show you around our campus and share with you our latest achievements.
