The Help the Syrian Children project continues to provide vital support to children and families in Syria, particularly in areas that have been most affected by the ongoing conflict. Despite the challenges posed by the continued instability and violence in the country, our efforts to assist those in need remain unwavering. Our local teams on the ground are working tirelessly to bring relief to the most vulnerable, focusing primarily on the growing number of children who are suffering from trauma, displacement, and lack of basic resources. We have continued to provide educational materials to children in Syria, ensuring that they have access to basic schooling despite the ongoing conflict. Over 1,200 children received learning materials, including books, stationary, and other educational supplies, to continue their education and keep their minds engaged in a time of uncertainty. The psychological well-being of children affected by war remains a priority. We have expanded our trauma-informed care programs, providing counseling and psychosocial support to more than 500 children in the past quarter. These programs are vital in helping children cope with the overwhelming stress and emotional trauma caused by the war. In addition to educational and psychosocial support, we continue to provide essential food and hygiene supplies to families. In the last three months, over 800 families received food packages, clothing, and hygiene kits to help them survive in the face of ongoing hardship. We’ve created safe spaces for children to gather, play, and recover from the trauma of war. These spaces offer a sense of normalcy and protection, which is crucial for children who have been living in fear and displacement for years.
