Help stateless children receive an education

It always seems that at this phase in building projects the process slows down.  I think it's just the detail phase that seems slower but things are moving ahead and now we can really push to the end as Giving Tuesday was such a huge success, thanks to all of you!

Between all of you and your generous gifts and the matching funds here on GlobalGiving we received a total of $19,264 to push this project to the finish line.  This is such exciting news!  

The items needed to get things wrapped up are, light fixtures, air conditioning units, a few bath fixtures, hot water heaters, curtains, desks, storage bins for school supplies, book shelves, etc.  We are also needing to work on the septic as the bathrooms are big enough that we are needing a new one apart from the old that now services the boys and girls dorms and the staff houseing.  

We are hoping to be finished within the next few months so that the students and staff can start utilitzing this resource and so that we can start housing teams that come to volunteer.

On a side note, we were able to host 500 people from the neaby villages for a Thanksgiving celebration! A lot of those who came were families of students from the dorm.  We utilized the Education center ground floor where we put out tables and food for all.  It was a wonderful time and nice to have a place for people to eat and visit in the shade.
