What has it meant to you and your family to be able to receive training as a nursing
assistant in the Pablo Tobón Uribe Education Institute?
Having the opportunity to be a student at the Institute has been the most wonderful achievement
of my life. My family is very proud of me for my academic and training process in such a renowned
institution, and for the great teachers who have supported me throughout the process. The
Institute opened its doors for me and, since the first day, I have felt nothing but complete
happiness in my heart. Over the months I’ve been part of the Institute, I’ve been able to learn,
grow, laugh and, most of all, think about all the positive things I will be able to give to the patients.
The teachers here not only share all their knowledge but they also teach you that, despite any
obstacles, you can achieve great things while you become a better person. We are very grateful
for the opportunity and privilege of being a student at the Institute and being able to make my
biggest dream come true.
What are the most significant aspects of the training at the Institute and what impact
have they had on your life?
The most significant aspects of my training process have been all the support I have received from
the teachers and everyone else at the Institute, and being able to interact with the patients (which
has been one of the best experiences I have gone through). The Institute has had a big impact on
my life in many ways, letting me grow as a person and providing so much knowledge that I have
ben able to share with the patients. Thanks to the Institute, I have learned to improve my self-
confidence, to find myself in multiple ways, to be able to learn something new every day from
each one of the patients and to realize that, one way or another, they have marked my life. I am
grateful for the trust they have placed in me, and I hope I’ll have the chance to lift the Institute up
for the great learning experience it has given me.
