Digital Skills for Future Entrepreneurs

This quarter has been a time of growth for the Ezulwini Homework Club, with continued success in our computer literacy program. This initiative addresses digital access challenges, equipping young learners with essential skills and exposing them to business opportunities like e-commerce, with the aim of fostering entrepreneurship.

We trained 30 children, with 10 now computer literate—able to type, identify components, create folders, use shortcuts, and navigate browsers. Their enthusiasm is evident, as they attended even during school holidays. We will continue working with them, introducing artificial intelligence and Google courses. Additionally, we enrolled 20 new students, 19 of whom had never used a computer. This highlights the importance of bridging the digital divide.

Our goal is to introduce students to the digital world, enabling them to find business opportunities and leverage technology for economic empowerment. Thanks to the British High Commission in Eswatini for their solar panel donation, ensuring uninterrupted lessons. We also appreciate our dedicated volunteers and educators, whose passion drives this program’s success.

Looking ahead, we aim to expand the curriculum to include basic coding and spreadsheets, further preparing students for the digital economy. We remain committed to empowering the next generation with essential technological skills and entrepreneurial knowledge. Thank you to all our supporters for making this possible.
