Supporting Champions is all about giving the worlds best athletes with an intellectual impairment the opportunity to realise their ambition and potential on the global stage.
It is now just under 5 months until the opening ceremony of the 2019 INAS Global Games - the pinnacle of our 4 year cycle - where athletes from 10 sports come togetehr for a Paralympic-style event. This event is the 5th edition of the Games and promises to be the biggest yet with more athletes, more nations, more sports and more medals up for grabs.
You can read about some of the athletes who are preparing for the Games on the INAS website as they tell their story about their hopes and medal ambitions.
We'll be using the Games to highlight Supporting Champions as we remain quite some way from reaching our target. If we can acheive this then we can begin our programme of grant support as we head into the new 4 year cycle and the 2023 Global Games.
Please help us to grow awareness of the project by sharing this newsletter with family and friends, and please visit the INAS website where we will be posting more information about the Global Games as we get closer to the opening ceremony.
Thankyou to all our supporters.
