Hello Lovely Supporters!
It's been 6 months since our last contribution to this project and 3 months since they officially moved in to the new nursery extension for the older children. Since moving in they have absolutely been thriving in their new and improved living space! Thank you for making such a big impact in their lives!
Just because funding is slow doesn't mean the work has stopped!
We have managed to get support from one of our loyal sponsors (Wescoal) that have helped us install air-conditioning and blinds in our Nursery to help keep the rooms nice and toasty during our cold winter nights!
With the help of funds from TLC Germany we have also managed to do basic renovations to the nursery bathroom; repair work being done to refit the counters, repair cuboards and drawes and refit and seal our bathing station.
Our loyal supporter Mike Wuth, also helped us by contributing much of his personal time and effort into arranging this amazing installation of an energy efficient water heating system with the help of Jens Clausen of Langamanzi Technology cc. This one unit has replaced 5 geysers! It will definitely go a long way to helping reduce our monthly electric bill, while still allowing our little ones to enjoy their warm baths!
We are so grateful for all these wonderful blessing! Even though we struggle to make ends meet one month to the next our supporters always seem to pull through in helping us to continue providing the best for our little ones! Thank you for being part of our amazing network of support! We truly value and appreciate your confidence in the work that we do.
There are still many needs to address in the repair and maintenance of our Nursery, from replacing the flooring to reparing security gates and light fittings, but today we are just grateful! So grateful to be supported and encouraged in our work, enabling us to provide the care that we do to the vulnerable little lives that pass through our doors.
