Wow! The overwhelming praise and congratulations for the amazing nursery extension we recently revealed has blown us away! And guess what!? You helped make it happen!
For a while now our older babies (2 years and older) have been sharing a cramped bedroom. It was really restrictive and chaotic with between 11 - 13 little ones sharing it at time. We were desperate to break through into and adjoining storeroom and old staff quaters to give them more space and a living area of their own, apart from the babies in the main nursery. Anna Buckermann of Germany stepped in to offer her skills and services to help make this happen, as well as raising funds through her own network and getting support from TLC Germany. They got the ball rolling and along the way we managed to get additional support from you and other companies and private donors to keep the momentum of the project going until this amazing result was achieved.
Anna was supported and assisted in this massive passion project by our facilities manager, Lionel Abraham and our in-house employees. The beautiful new nursery renovation/extention for the older children was officially revealed on the 2nd of March and they moved in on the 4th of March.
