Schools are closed again

Kedves Támogatóink,

Ez csak egy rövid helyzetjelentés rólunk.

Az utóbbi három hónap úgy telt, hogy az általános iskolák nyitva voltak, de a gimnázium online módban muködött. Ennek a hétnek az elejétol az általános iskolák is bezártak - várhatóan egy hónapra. Így teljesen elvitelre és kiszállításra kellett átállnunk.

Reméljük, hogy így is sikerül a rászorulóknak eljuttatni az ebédet.

Reménnyel telve várjuk már nagyon a tavaszt.

Dear Supporters,

This is just a brief update on the situation.

For the past three months, primary schools have been open, but the grammar school has been operating online. Since the beginning of this week primary schools have also closed - we expect for a month. So we had to switch completely to takeaway and delivery.

We hope to still be able to get lunch to those in need.

We are very much looking forward to spring.

A jovo bizonytalan, de felkeszulunk ra / The future is uncertain, but we are preparing for it

Kedves Támogatóink!

A nyári beszámolónkban írtuk, hogy elindítunk egy alapot, amivel az a tervünk, hogy kiszélesítjük a támogatásainkat.

Így egyrészt tovább támogathatjuk az eddig is támogatottakat, a legnehezebb helyzetben lévo családokat.

Másrészt elindítunk az iskolai ebédeltetésben egy kedvezmény rendszert, aminek segítségével résztámogatásokat adunk (25%-os vagy 50%-os kedvezményeket), így a segítség több helyre jut el.

Örömmel jelentjük, hogy sikeresen elindult a rendszer :)

Az eddig felajánlott támogatásokból mostanáig biztosítani tudtuk az ingyenes étkezést és a kedvezményeket az eddig jelentkezettek számára.

A Covid járvány miatt mától Magyarországon is szigorú korlátozások kezdodnek, de az általános iskolák és óvodák egyenlore nyitva maradnak. Ezért egyenlore továbbra is biztosítjuk az egészséges ebédet a rászorulóknak.

Nagy kérdés, hogyan tovább, ha be kell zárniuk az iskoláknak, óvodáknak? Mi készülünk, hogy szükség esetén el tudjuk indítani a kiszállítást. Reméljük muködni fog, ha szükség van rá.

Dear Supporters!

We reported in our summer newsletter that we are launching a fund with which we plan to expand our support program.

In this way, on the one hand, we can continue to support those who have been supported so far - families in the most difficult situations. On the other hand, we are launching a discount system for school lunches, with the help of which we give partial subsidies (25% or 50% discounts), so that our help reaches more children.

We are pleased to announce that the system has been successfully launched :)

From the donations offered so far, we have been able to provide free meals and discounts for those who have applied until now.

As a result of the Covid pandemic strict restrictions will begin in Hungary from today, but primary schools and kindergartens will remain open for the time being. So we continue to provide healthy lunches for those in need.

The big question is, how to proceed if schools and kindergartens need to close? We are ready to start home delivery if necessary. We hope it will work if we need it.

Let's establish a small Fund! We prepare for an uncertain future where new challenges await

Kedves Támogatóink!

Furcsa tanév végéhez értünk. Jól indult, aztán elsodorták a világesemények.

Eljött a tanév vége és mi átgondoltuk, hogyan tovább. Úgy látjuk, hogy sok családot sodort nehézségbe a járvány és még sokak kerülnek majd nehéz helyzetbe egy gazdasági válság esetén.

Ezért cselekvésre határoztuk el magunkat. Létrehozunk egy alapot.

Ebbol egyrészt támogatjuk az eddig is támogatottakat, a legnehezebb helyzetben lévo családokat.

Másrészt elindítunk az iskolai ebédeltetésben egy kedvezmény rendszert, aminek segítségével résztámogatásokat adunk (25%-os vagy 50%-os kedvezményeket). Így a segítség több helyre jut el, és azokon is segíthetünk akiknek csak egy kis segítség kell, hogy elérhetové váljon - vagy megmaradjon - az ebédelés lehetosége.

Kiszámoltuk: így az eddigi 6-8 mellett további 30-40 gyereket segíthetünk egészséges ételhez a jövoben is.

Jó alkalom az Alap elindítására a GlobalGiving Bonus Day július 15-én. Az ezen a napon kapott támogatásokhoz a GlobalGiving is hozzátesz, így a támogatás most többet ér:

$100 - $499 USD között 15%-os a bónusz
$500 - $749 USD között 30%-os a bónusz
$750 - $1,000 USD között 50%-os a bónusz

Ezért kérjük, hogy ha lehetosége van rá, támogassa Alapunk elindítását, segítsen, hogy minél többen juthassanak egészséges ebédhez.

Fontos: a Bonus Day magyar ido szerint július15 szerda 15.00-kor kezdodik és csütörtök reggeli 6.00-ig tart. Ezen idoszakon belül érvényesek a bónuszok.

We have reached the end of a strange school year. It started well, then was swept away by world events.

The end of the school year has come and we have thought about how to proceed. We see that many families have been plagued by the epidemic and many more will find themselves in a difficult situation in the event of an economic crisis.

That is why we are determined to act. Let's create a fund.

With is fund - on the one hand - we support those who have been supported so far, the families in the most difficult situations.

On the other hand, we are launching a discount system for school lunches, with the help of which we give partial subsidies (25% or 50% discounts). This way, help reaches more places, and we can also help those who just need a little help to have access to - or stay with - the opportunity for lunch.

We have calculated: in addition to the previous 6-8, we can help another 30-40 children to eat healthy lunch in the future as well.

This is a good time to launch the Fund on the GlobalGiving Bonus Day on July 15th. GlobalGiving will also match the donations we receive on this day, so the help is worth more now:

Donations of $100 - $499 USD will be matched at 15%
Donations of $500 - $749 USD will be matched at 30%
Donations of $750 - $1,000 USD will be matched at 50%

Therefore, we ask you, if you have the opportunity, please support the launch of our Fund, help as many children as possible to have a healthy lunch.

Important: Bonus Day starts at 15.00 on Wednesday, July 15 Central European time, and lasts until 6.00 on Thursday morning. Bonuses are valid during this period.
