South Africa will soon experience winter from June 2024. The Western Cape province is affected the most in the winter months, June to August, the temperature ranges from around 12-17°C (54-62°F) during the day and 4-8°C (39-46°F) during the night. HOPE Africa has been keeping the contributions from this campaign so that in winter we can create a winter pack.
This is particularly important because there are homeless people that need food, blankets and a warm place to rest during the freezing nights. We will be partnering with shelters like we did in our last report where we partnered with Owl Haven, a shelter in Cape Town.
We thank you for your contributions for this planned activity. We will share more in our next report.
God Bless.
