Update #1 2021
By Philip Appiah | PAAJAF CEO
Dear Supporters,
First of all, happy New Year!
We start 2021 with good news: Ghanaian government has allowed the reopening of pre-primary and primary schools from 15 January 2021. This means we are authorized to reopen from that date, after almost 9 months with the school closed.
Since March 2020, we had suffered a great impact in our activities and organization, due to the suspension of the school activities. The shutdown has caused disruption not only to our activities as to our staff and financial arrangements.
At this moment, we are doing our utmost to be able to reopen the school as soon as possible, so your all your help is welcomed.
We hope to get back to you with new developments soon.
Thank you,
Best regards,
Philip Appiah

Project Update September
By Philip Appiah | PAAJAF CEO
Dear Friends,
Since March, our school has been shut down due to the mandatory lockdown, as a consequence of Covid-19. Ever since we have been trying to keep the organization running on minimum level operation to be able to reopen as soon as we are allowed by the Government.
Earlier this month, we have received the information from the Ghanaian authorities that primary schools will only be reopening in January 2021.
Based on this decision, we are now trying to keep the organization alive until then, namely to ensure that we can manage to keep our school premises, which are rented. Our goal is to be able to welcome back our children in January 2021 and to ensure they get back to school as soon as possible with no further disruptions.
Thank you very much in advance for your support!

Covid-19 Impact
By Philip Appiah | Paajaf CEO
Dear Friends,
Throughout the past months, we have unfortunately been impacted by the Covid-19 spreading, which has also reached Ghana.
The government requested a mandatory lockdown, which made us close down the facilities and school activities completely. Our staff, students and their families are now at home.
This situation has forced us not only to suspend all our activities, as well as impacted seriously our operation terms. Nevertheless, we are doing our best to keep afloat so that when we have the possibility to reopen we can come back as strong as before and resume our work with Gbawe children.
So far, we learnt that all our closer school community is in good health, so we hope we can get back soon.
Thank you very much for all your support.
Stay safe!
