Happy Holidays PAAJAF family! Thank you for your continued support, especially for all who participated in Giving Tuesday in November. We are both grateful and honored that you continue to contribute as each and every dollar makes a big difference in the lives of our students and our teachers.
In this last quarter of the year, we partnered with the Ghana Health Service who administered timely vaccines and health services to our students. All our children participated in a one month ''Brush Your Teeth Day and Night Challenge'' organized by Unilever Ghana. Each child would place a sticker on a calendar to track their teeth brushing. At the end of the competition they received awards for completing the challenge and doing an amazing job. This activity was both educational and fun as they also learned the benefits and reasons for brushing their teeth regularly and the proper method of brushing their teeth. In regards to safety, we purchased one more fire extinguisher to improve our fire safety measures. This last term, we saw a great improvement in our students’ French lessons.
Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting one of our board members in Ghana. Gregory received a warm welcome from our teachers and staff at our school in Gbawe. He toured the school and held meetings with our teachers and he gifted two large balls and inflatable globes which the children loved.
On 24th December, we will hold a special lesson and a carol service. This will be our first end of year celebration. The day will be packed with lots of fun activities. We look forward to ending the year well.
We appreciate you, our amazing donors. We wish a happy holiday to you and a happy new year!
Sincerely,
Paul, Joy, Gregory and the PAAJAF Family
