Give second chance for 100 rescue animals in India

The year 2018 has been a fabulous one thanks to the support of the many donors like you, who believed in the cause and reassured us with their timely and recurring donations. We are deeply indebted to you and want to share our successes that were made possible, all because of YOU.

Just this year, we have been able to influence more than 5000 animals postively and we hope that you will continue to support us as we move into the next year with renewed strength.

Our highlights of 2018 are:

• Vaccinated 3330 companion animals against Rabies as well as other viral diseases like Canine Distemper, Parvo Virus etc.
• Treated 3663 animals through our out-patient clinics
• Spayed/Neutered 862 companion animals
• Rescued 940 animals 
• Found homes for 255 companion animals

We are immensely proud of this incredible achievement. The Anti-Rabies Vaccination drives where we vaccinated more than 1500 dogs this year, was done after conducting a Dog-population survey which reinforced our belief in achieving a Rabies-free city in the near future. Our motto for 2020 is a "Rabies-free Coimbatore" and we hope that you will support us in making that a reality. With your support, we can truly become a rabies-free city making human death from rabies, a matter of history!

Your donations helped us rehabilitate several road-traffic accident victims by procuring Walkin' Wheels that has made a huge difference in the quality of life of many rescue animals that have their hind limbs paralyzed. Your recurring contributions have helped us support their care and treatment expenses month after month bringing them cheer and comfort.

Currently, we have more than 75 animals that need care and treatment on a daily basis and we hope you will help us give them a life devoid of suffering that they so much deserve.

Your $50 donation covers the cost of treatment and care of one rescue animal for a whole month.          

$20 covers spaying/neutering and vaccinating one dog/cat.

We have a target to spay/neuter 100 companion animals every month. Help us start off strong in 2019 and achieve our goal of enhancing our recurring contributions and achieve our target of raising $2,000 every month.

We had an unprecedented number of rescues during the months of September and October and unfortunately, many of them were road traffic accident victims. The matching donations campaign helped us in a big way as your generosity stretched and helped us procure one more set of walking wheels that has been a tremendous morale boost for these dogs. We were also able to conduct mass vaccination drives in conjunction with the World Rabies Day along with creating awareness about the disease and how easy it is to combat Rabies.

World Rabies Day on September 28 every year, is a unique opportunity to join forces with people from around the globe on a day dedicated to preventing Rabies in humans and animals. We were able to vaccinate more than 300 dogs during September on mass Anti-Rabies Vaccination Drives. We conducted mass awareness drives doing door-to-door campaign educating public about the need for vaccinating pets and community animals against Rabies. The most recent dog population survey assessed the total dog population of the city to be approximately 45000. A small donation of USD 10 helps vaccinate 10 dogs against the deadly disease of Rabies taking us one more step closer towards a Rabies-free Coimbatore. 

Judy and Merlyn are but two of the several road traffic accident victims that have been rescued recently, bringing the total count of paralyzed dogs at our sanctuary to 10. They have been given a second chance only because of your kindness. Their happiness and joy at being able to run and play along with their four-legged friends are evident in the pictures attached. A donation of USD 350 will help us procure one more set of walking wheels that will help enrich the lives of a few more of our differently-abled pets that have special needs.
