Free Transportation for 48 Children with Cancer

In this reporting period we had an event held on December 13, in which the children and young people who were present that day could participate and remember that most come from communities with distances of up to 8-10 hours.

In the event there were piñatas, cake, volvans, soft drinks and many gifts that as every year were donated by the Octavio Paz Educational Center, who sent this time for not being able to go to the Hospital during school hours, while our association gives away the gifts to young.

Last year there were about 12 new diagnoses, while in the last two months we have 3 new patients who are financially supporting so they can get to the Regional Hospital for their chemotherapy.

Hello dear donor: in this report I will talk a little about our work.

Patients who are treated in this regional hospital Coatzacoalcos, come from several locations, the closest to 22 kilometers, the furthest about 300 kilometers, some require change from one transport to another to reach the city, previously our association providedthrough 2 mobile units the transport without requiring a change of unit, but because this represented a very high cost, we had to dispense of a vehicle and the driver and choose to pay bus tickets or community transportation or taxis.Previously their trip was of less time because they were going to a certain point in the localities in a specific time, from there our driver took them to the hospital.

Now they leave their communities in the different means of transportation that are available and since they arrive at the hospital we pay their tickets or their transfer without a tax receipt in certain points for being community.

The important thing for us is to remain to continue providing the service.

Apart from the community journeys, we also pay transport to other cities to central or other specialty hospitals where every time they are valued. 

Cities as Mexico City (CDMX) (aprox 800 kilometers from here), Xalapa and Veracruz Puerto and Córdoba or Orizaba in the state of Veracruz

**On the other hand we were recognized by Radiofórmula of the city of Coatzacoalcos.
