Food and Medical Care for Sick Youth and Elderly

Dear Friend,

Thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative providing food and medical care for the youth and the elderly. In previous reports, we were able to provide direct food aid thanks also to our local donors and supporters. This reporting period we focus our attention to the creation of a communal garden wherein the youth and the elderly can work together and generate food together. The idea is cooperative endeavour and mutual support for income, food and enjoyment. Producing food is more enjoyable when local people work together although there are related challenges and difficulties. We were able to establish one communal garden during this reporting period and we will monitor this for problems and issues that needs to be solved. Once this is mature enough we will expand this to other areas. Hoping for your continuing support.

Dear Friend,

Thank you very much for your support to our initiative providing food and medical care for the sick. This reporting period we focus our support to providing vegetable gardening inputs to families with sick and elderly members as we found out that gardening is easy to do and will provide direct and immediate food and income to the family in a short time as some of the vegetables mature early and can be harvested by growers. We plan to expand this project and thanks in advance to local and on-line supporters who encourage us to implement this project. This time we were able to provide vegetable production inputs to 120 beneficiaries and we hope to increase the number of recipients in the coming months. Again thank you so much.
