The primary role of the Lambi Fund is to assist rural farmers in the production of food and enhance food security in the local areas.  To expand local food production,Lambi support a multiplicity of activitie.  Among them, The provision of oxplowing that increases  the area for planting; credit for planters to be able to access goods and services to produce their gardens; provide support to grain storage and transformation from grain to edible cereal.  In addition, we prodvide training in agro forestry and the production of organic pesticides.  We supplement mechanized equipments that move the level of production to more efficient development tecniques.

In the last ten years, The lambi Fund has funded 18 ox-plowing services, that avail plowing services to till the land in time for planting seasons.  They not only serve their membership but they serve the community of farmers at large. timely seeding in season also ward off infestation of any pest.

On the aftermath of the devastating hurricane, Lambi Fund has renewed committment to repair 7 Oxplowing projects located in the South of Haiti.  They suffered infrastucture damages and lost of equipment.  The rehabilitation will reinstate increased capacity to produce locally and increase food for local consumption.

Lambi Fund added three more oxplowing services since the Hurricane:  Mouvement Fraternity Major (MFM), ACHLAP, OBP Boulard.  On an average they will till 97 hectares more to plant food gardens.  An additional 90 farmers receive management training, speciality training in the agriculture, animal husbandry and nursery building.
