Thank you so much for your generous giving! We have reached our original goal of $6,000 and have helped over 300 families! However, there are still many families in urgent need here… Therefore, we have increased the campaign goal and would like to provide food assistance for many more suffering families.
Indonesia is now considered the world epicenter for the COVID-19 Delta variant. COVID-19 is ravaging the country and is causing the healthcare system to collapse. Indonesia is seeing daily record numbers of new cases and deaths.
Because the situation is so dire, the government has put into place strict and spanning lockdowns throughout the country that have already lasted over a month. However important, these measures are also crippling the economy. A majority of families in Indonesia live hand to mouth, meaning they cannot survive if they don’t work, and there are many millions without work and no outside help.
As we continue to provide assistance and help for families that are hardest hit and in greatest need, please consider making a donation. $20.00 will provide two weeks’ worth of essential food for a family with no income or way to provide.
