Education unifies all of us

Class Six working with their learning partners

Dear

With a new school year underway, we wanted to update all of you and share some of the LOVELY accomplishments of our students.

Class six is currently involved in a cross continent learning experience with students in New York.  They are all reading the book, A Long Walk to Water, by Linda Sue Park.  They have begun to meet weekly through Google Meets to discuss the characters, events and setting of this wonderful piece of literature.  It is something that both groups of students look forward to.  Our younger classes continue to work on their letters and are so proud of the progress they are making as learners.  They are reading, writing and growing by leaps and bounds.  Class seven’s ability to conquer complex math concepts amazes their teachers every day.  Angle measurements and word problems are some of their favorite types of concepts.

Of course, we also LOVE all of our volunteers and the contributions they have made. We have had many volunteers who have spent time with us and supported our learning and facilities. The many life experiences and the assorted countries and cultures that our volunteers bring to our school enrich our classrooms.  As you can tell, our reputation as a world class school continues to spread across the globe!

Once again we have reached the rooftop of Africa. Just like climbing a mountain, learning takes a lot of stamina, hard work, dedication and practice.  We see these character traits throughout our school community. We would LOVE for you to visit us and become a part of our special family.  Your continued generosity inspires the children to aspire, to be anything they want to be and in turn become role models for a generation of younger students.

You continue to be an incredible influence on the lives of our children and for that we are eternally grateful.  In Swahili we would like to say NAKUPENDA.

Asante Sana for your continued contributions.

Rose Hogan
